FIA Standard 8860-2018: iGO! Helmets achieves top-level homologation

iGO! Helmets, sister company of HRX, is proud to announce that the Diamante Advanced has officially been homologated according to FIA Standard 8860-2018 — the most prestigious and demanding helmet standard in international motorsport.

Following the successful crash test results announced in January and the presentation of Paul-Loup Chatin as our first brand ambassador, this homologation marks a major milestone for iGO! Helmets. With FIA 8860-2018 certification, the Diamante Advanced is now eligible for use in the vast majority of top-level motorsport categories and championships worldwide.

Previously recognized for achieving Snell CMR 2016 homologation with the Diamante — where our karting helmet became the lightest on the market at just 969 grams — iGO! once again confirms its commitment to combining ultra-lightweight construction with uncompromising safety standards.

Engineered for Elite Performance

The Diamante Advanced is built around a superlight pre-preg carbon shell, engineered to deliver maximum strength with minimal weight. Homologated under FIA 8860-2018, it is available in sizes 54 to 59 across three different shell sizes, ensuring optimized fit and perfectly balanced weight distribution for every driver.

An advanced ventilation system guarantees efficient air intake and extraction, maintaining optimal airflow even in the most demanding race conditions. A patented visor locking mechanism enhances safety and reliability, while injected and thermo-formed visors make the helmet suitable for both open and closed cockpit applications.

Designed for professional motorsport, the Diamante Advanced is compatible with most drink and communication systems and can be equipped with an optional air kit for forced ventilation. Inside, triple-density padding ensures outstanding comfort, while multi-density liners are specifically developed to maximize energy absorption and protection.
